The pictures aren't high quality, but the top does look nice. In addition to a bridge and tailpiece there would also need to be some cosmetic work, at the very least some screw holes to be filled. I don't know how much the cost for these would be, but that top certainly suggests it could be worth it to someone to find it. And if someone were to ship it to Santa Rosa for the bridge and tailpiece, it could also be worth looking into some updates as well. If I recall correctly, there is a modification for Persuader electronics to add a second preamp so that each pickup has it's own internal trim pot. And of course throw in a Q switch while it's there.

Kinda makes you wonder why the tuners were replaced, and if the Gotohs are direct replacements using the same screw holes.

for me personally, i would buy this and use the bridge thats on there and be fine(if i didn't just get a new bass :-/), but for others, everything on it has to be Alembic(not slamming any of you out there, just saying different peoples preferences)

Great deal,
I don't understand the comment about adjusting each string for individual intonation,
Only a handful of the earliest Alembics had non-adjustable saddles.

The post has been deleted. I wonder if it was bogus?

It may have sold; I delete my craigslist postings when I sell something.
