Hi, I am wondering if there is anyone interested in wanting to swap me a Stanley Clarke for my Mark King. It is 5 years old, special inlay, coca bolo top and back, omega shape and I would say perfect condition. The reason for wanting to do this is I expect the stanley would be lighter in weight. |

I'd have to agree- it looks like a MK Deluxe with Deluxe Purpleheart lams and Signature Electronics... Great looking bass despite the tiny picture... |

You might be able to stay with the Mark King style if you had a different type of top and back wood. Coca bolo is a very heavy wood, but you would loose some of that great tone that comes with it. |
