Is this a 32" scale? MediumBass4? If so, that and the omega body are tempting me big time. More pictures = more enticement. I will state up front, my SC is coco bolo, too, so it is not a light bass for its small size. If you need something light, perhaps you need to go for a nice quilted maple or something. Maple has a nice, bright tone I really like.

For lighter weight, you might consider a Brown Bass. Of course the tone will be a bit different than you're used to with the MK bass (a beaut BTW).

Do you have its serial number? Let's get it on the stolen list - It cannot hurt. It might turn up, if a club member sees it somewhere. Do you have more and maybe better pictures of your old bass?

MK verses SC basses, yours weighs 11.8 pounds, and mine weight 10.6+ pounds. It is tiny and petite, but a heavy little thing. No hollowed out chambers and cococ bolo fronts and backs mean more weight.

There are some really nice brown basses around with side LEDs and other added goodies, and they are by nature very good basses. Be partient and wait for the right one to come along and make sure all partiesw get what they want out of the trade. Such trades are always the best.

There are some small bodied S-I's for sale and trade sometimes. Your bass is worth their price. You might want to consider them, also. Honestly, if you sent it to Sims and got front and side LEDs put on it, I woulde trade mine and some cash on the deal, and I would jump at it. But you would only cut the weight by a sigle pound, and I do not think you would be happy with that.

What is the scale length??? If it's a 32", it would make me at least consider the idea. I have a Maple topped SC that is very light (see my profile pic... yep it's green).

I cant remember the ser no but it was 700 and something ,maybe 768 or 786???
yeah I dont think a lb difference is near enough and i dont have a problem with the brown bass at all. Mike,, I think the green looks great but I would rather natural on this one.

Hi there, sorry about delay, somehow my login details went askew. ah yeah it is still for sale,no led's,and I'd like to ask other forum members what it should go for as I live in Australia and am not really sure what it is worth. I need to aquire a brown bass preferably with led's and I also wonder what is a realistic price for a s/h one.
