Not sure if anyone appreciates these on that side of the pond, but I would have it in a heartbeat if I didn't blow my bass budget this year already... http://cgi.ebay.com/JAY-DEE-BASS-GUIT-ENG-HAND-MADE-BEUTY-G-SOUND-MINT-COND_W0QQitemZ150411808892QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item23053e107c |

I recently was offered one of these but did not purchase it .When I played it I was surprised to discover that the neck was NOT through body design. |

They are a great bass. Not as refined as the Alembics with regards build but the sound is quite simply on it's own. I can't get any other bass to sound like a JD, same as I can't get any other bass to sound like an Alembic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jR-yS7z9Qdw&feature=related |
