Not sure if anyone appreciates these on that side of the pond, but I would have it in a heartbeat if I didn't blow my bass budget this year already...

I recently was offered one of these but did not purchase it .When I played it I was surprised to discover that the neck was NOT through body design.

They are a great bass. Not as refined as the Alembics with regards build but the sound is quite simply on it's own. I can't get any other bass to sound like a JD, same as I can't get any other bass to sound like an Alembic.
