Well, I was cruising around Google for pictures of Jerry, and one of the links opened this website. Honestly, I did not understand a thing on the page, very confusing, but there are some pictures of #10, and a video as well. Apparently it was for sale, but I don't know if it still is. As I don't recall seeing this before on the For Sale section, I'm posting it. Sorry if this is a repetition. But if this is still for sale, someone here should get it! If not, just check the bad quality pictures they have posted and move on pretending this was on the Showcase section! Greg |

Well, We can't know everything all the time...as much as we might want to. Now if you post the same alert in about a week I'd start to be concerned ;) Kris |

Kris, I'll do my best to take care of myself... Something might be corroding my brain... Damn you, childhood cartoons... Please warn me if my cells decide to rebel against me again! But you know, I wish I could buy one of these awesome old historical Alembics... There is one in particular that I really enjoy, and maybe one day it will be for sale. Who knows. It is Alembic #10, I don't know if you have seen it before. Really nice guitar. This is it's Showcase Thread pictures. Check it out, pretty neat... hehe...I think the new cartoons are much worse than the ones in the early 70's ( schoolhouse rock was awesome). It's been 5 years or so since I let go of Alembic (guitar) #1 (or close, there is no serial #) and I still have a heartache over that one. I still have my fingers which is where the mojo resides (or so I hear)...so I try to smile and continue living, loving and breathing. If you ever see that peanut guitar for sale let me know and I'll probably forget about all those lessons in 'non-attachment' I've been healing my heart with. That's a nice guitar you linked to...who makes it? |

It's something like Olympic... I'm not sure... I heard that it is a small company specialized in furniture that tries to make instruments... Man, I can imagine the heartache. Keep teaching yourself 'Non Attachment" lessons. Just never look at old pictures of it. Somehow, it erases the lessons in seconds... Greg |

Old #10 is currently hanging out at the mothership awaiting some tlc for the electronics. Elwoodblue, is this the peanut guitar you sold? Even without the original electronics, it is infinitely drool-worthy! If you ever do buy it back, and then decide to sell again, please LET ME KNOW! Bill tgo |

hehe...I don't even have to look...yes that's it. I swore I never would sell her...but cash was low and my families heirlooms were in storage about ready to be auctioned, it was a terrible decision. Bill I know she would have a good home with you. (you'd be the first person I'd call) Thanks for the support Greg...talking about it probably helps me, I should write a song about the whole saga for a good dose of healing. Maybe someday I'll order a custom peanut guitar (if Susan would allow it). Kris |
