That neck pickup sure is far away from the end of the fingerboard... a big departure from the Stanley basses, (Alembic), we are all familiar with?
I suppose that means a much more "midrange" sound produced... less bass, (frequency) response as described to me.
And I thought I was going with a wide gap on the custom I`ve got in production at 1.75" neck pup from end of fingerboard.
