Does that mean it's essentially a stock bass or did it have some custom options?

The engraved truss rod cover is the only thing physically out of the ordinary. Contratually, GC probably strong-armed and hustled the elves on price point and delivery time.

and the oval inlays ;-)

All these basses have a Flamed Maple top if I'm not mistaken.
