Wow, you don't see those very often. Anyone know if there's any way to use them without the Series I electronics? I'm guessing not but I'm sure many of you know for sure. |

The Alembic electronics board is pretty complicated that would go with these pickups. What I am wondering is why the original owner had them replaced? |

I am the seller of these pickups. They come from a 1981 series 1 that I had refinished last month. Part of the refinishing was having the electronics upgrade that impacts older basses prone to high frequency noise. When they do the modification they provide new pickups. Pickups are in great shape.
