Craigslist San Francisco Bay Area has a listing for what is described as an "Alembic 15' cab". Somehow, I suspoect he meant 15". lol here it is. Bill, tgo |

I saw that thing Bill. I still own quite a few "Original" Alembic speaker cabinets in various sizes and the thing on Craigslist does NOT look like any of mine . |

It actually said Alembic "design". You have to admit that it is made out of wood. I guess this is a variation of "...with Alembic strings". |

I'd like to see (and hear) a fifteen foot Alembic cab. This old Bagend cab looks nice, the seller doesn't mention what it's loaded with. |

I have an old dual 12" Bag End of the same vintage, although it has inset banana jacks instead of 1/4". It came with blown Gauss drivers that are long gone. I'm not sure what the cab was designed for, as it doesn't sound that great with either guitar or bass. Or maybe I've just never set it up properly. |
