Check out this pickguard on ebay. Anyone want to bet it doesn't sell? My favorite part is that, after having the chutzpah to ask $900 for a PICKGUARD, the seller then wants $50 shipping! Bill, tgo |

Now that's chutzpah. There just might be some mook out there who'll say "but it's 1960s Fender!!" and pony up the dough. A couple of years ago I put a clean, working Maestro Bass Brassmaster I bought new in '74 up on eBay hoping to get $100 for it. It sold for $915.00 and I just about fainted. |

"...has shrunken a little bit...." Translation: The holes in the guard no longer line up with the holes in a Bass VI, so it's worhtless. A steal @ $900, eh? Peter |

i'd much rather spend FARLESS and just get a brand new one, but that would only be if the original was destroyed ~Taylor |

I bet he parts out the screws for it next week for $500 . . . . they're vintage too. I hope he's rounding up his tickets for the Dallas show. What the hell, call the 'Burst Brothers'! J o e y |
