Warr guitars are extremely well made, even the bolt on models. This is a neck through, Trey Gunn series for anyone interested. |

just curious, can you play these like a normal guitar? because all the pictures i've seen there being played like a tap guitar, also what tuning is this? ~Taylor |

I'm not sure about the Warr Guitar. But I have a Chapman Stick and with the very low string tension it's perfect for tapping technique but hard to play like a normal guitar. While the Warr is also a tapping instrument it's probably the same. |

You can play it like a bass. The string spacing is slightly wider and it is designed to tap and play normally. The tuning is probably low B up in fourths to Bb. |

It's a beautiful bass. But not only is it a "niche" instrument, it's left handed!!! That will make it very difficult to sell. If you're not in a hurry, just be patient and I'm sure the right buyer will come along. |

I used to own a Warr Trey Gunn prototype, one of 2 made before they went into production. The construction and sound of that instrument was amazing. As to it being a lefty, with Warr instruments it's kinda a moot point. That one could be played righty or lefty with no problem. I actually prefer the "uncrossed" stringing on this instrument. You can tap the bass notes with your left hand and melody with your right without crossing the fretboard. You've got an incredible and unique instrument. Wish I could take it off your hands. This was my 12 string TG Prototype, crossed tuning. It is a righty, even though the controls are in the wrong place!
