I pulled the old ad while I had the bass checked out. Ruggiero's in Philly (one of very few local guys who's opinion I have complete faith in) looked over the bass, and confirmed that the repair is not pretty, but it is stable and straight. I reposted on Craigslist because local is often easier. In any rate, I'll keep it up at the $2300 rate if someone here wants to move on it. But hey, don't be shy about making an offer. Also, the neck is 3/4" thick at the first fret, 7/8" thick at the 12th fret. The thickness was measured with a ruler from the front edge of the fretboard because I don't have calipers, but I'm really just pointing out that the neck profile is slimmer than some other Alembics I have played, and I find it quite comfortable. @slicknick Yes.
