Guys... Starting at $3,500.00!! I am an original owner of an `81 Distillate with a Purpleheart top. OK its not the SC shape, and by the way my strap button only originally (- moved it to the back of the neck - which did not help), resides on the upper horn not the center/back of the neck. Anyways I can`t honestly think of asking that price IMHO. -Rich | ||

I'd have to agree with the ??? asking price. My Distillate's a walnut '83 in top shape and I purchased it for $1,900 about a year ago. While its not the SC shape that's a lot of additional $$ to pay for a shape. | ||

They went for $1,800.00 brand new in `81. Dealer price in IL. Mine only a little less with PH top. Could not touch the zebrawood for less than full price. Still thats brand new $$ even though it was almost 30 years ago. -Rich | ||

No bids, but it's back up again with the starting bid decreased to $2,800.
