I'm looking for a Series 1, fretted or fretless. Preference for fretless. Four strings is adequate for a simple country boy like me. I prefer the body without the standard point (by the tailpiece) that stops you leaning it in the corner. I don't mind some wear and buckle rash. Medium or long scale. I'm no expert, so advise me if you want ... maybe a S2 would suit me. Cash buyer, or swap my lush Persuader plus cash? Discuss |

Here are a couple of places you may want to keep your eyes focussed at. This is the UK Alembic Distributor UK American guitar company and this one I think is in Germany Station Music You may find something comes up there from time to time. Happy hunting. Jazzyvee |

FYI, not in the UK or Europe but a beautiful 4 string Series I fretless it is. Not sure whether it is still available. http://alembic.com/club/messages/395/64652.html |

Wow, that sure is pretty, but a little radical for me. I prefer the smaller body, with shorter 'horns'. And I won't be in the US on business for a few months. But I really appreciate your help and support in the search! |

John, What about something like this? If I don't find work soon I will have to sell. slawie |

Slawie, Looks good - though I already feel bad that someone would have to sell their Alembic because they couldn't find work. You're not in the cricket team are you? John |

This one is also still available, though no Series electronics in there... Edit: Oops... misread :-) (I saw "Europa fretless") Sorry. (Message edited by fc_spoiler on December 07, 2010) |

Thanks for the post, FC! Cute and lovely figured wood, but I think I prefer the earlier style. I love the neck ... |

Hi Jas, I'm based in the UK and may have a bass that is of interest - fretted and point body I'm afraid but a Series 1 in absolutely as new condition. Drop me your email and we can talk. I'm up in Manchester but travel South a lot! |
