This sold on e-Bay today. It is a very nice piece. The seller came by my office with the bass last week, and it was gorgeous. Good luck to the winning bidder.

I was fortunate enough to be the successful bidder on this bass and am very much looking forward to her arrival.

Wow!
Congrats Jon.
I must have looked at that listing about a dozen times trying to think of a way to make it happen. :-)

Jon:

I know this bass well as the original owner, the Flaxman, (well known among the long time members of the club), is a buddy. It is truly a remarkable instrument that will blow you away. Congrats and enjoy.

Sorry for Flax, but happy for Jon. It has one of the more unique pieces of Coco Bolo I've ever seen.

Jon, when you see this bass, you will forget any loved ones for a while. The quilt is spectacular, the knobs are terrific, and the back is the most seductive bookmatched back of Coco Bolo I have ever seen. I tried to bid against you, and perhaps dorve up the price, but you will feel it is worth it. I did. Just remember at some time you must come back down to earth and greet your human and pet loved ones as well. Congratulations and play it well and often!

Jeff shipped her today, after digging out of 2 feet of snow! I've been an admirer of Scarlet since the FTC. Now, if UPS can just not run over the box...No extra charge for the service.
