I have put a bid into the seller. Nice collection of Alembics there. I await their counteroffer. Somehow, I just feel this piece of history shoud be back in the USA, where it was conceived and constructed.

Man, that place has the coolest collection.

I must have missed the discussion on this little darling. Like everyone around here, I love the super duper AAAA exotic zebra burled maple 6 string sliding pickup tree of life inlaid basses... but this is just a smooth looking bass, so simple and just pretty, wow. Looks tight.

Was at Station Music yesterday and saw the double neck...The neck inlay is unbelievable.
Amazing Bass,Amazing weight(over 8 kg) :-).

That is John Judge's old bass - she sure is purty. I wonder if the 3 fretless control knobs get in the way?

Man, I love the keyhole omega cut on that bass! And the koa SII 2 listings down is absolutely breathtaking.
