After long thought, I've decided to sell my 1976 Alembic Series 1 Bass that I recently purchased. This bass is absolutely incredible and sounds amazing; it's just that I need a bass with 6 strings. The bass has a few cosmetic flaws, including a headstock joint repair and a small chip in the pickup selector knob. The bass will come with the power supply, cable, and OHSC. I'm not in a real rush to sell this, but if you're interested email me at cnholleb(at)gmail.com. I'm hoping to sell for $3600 OBO.

Hey there fellow Alemni, I have 2 - 6 string basses, 1 is a Dingwall afterburner I & the other is a custom Gorny ‘Alien” bass Both are 6 string, the Gorny is 34” scale & the Dingwall has a variable scales (different for every string) with the low “B” being an amazing 37” I would consider trading 1 of these for your Alembic SII although that headstock neck repair makes me nervous, I had a 93 Europa & that headstock saw it’s share of “casualties” BUT never so much as a hairline crack, these things are built like tanks & for 1 to suffer a injury such as that took a hefty “wallup” If my fears are exaggerated please ease them lol… Anyway if you are interested please send some pics that include the damaged area etc along with detailed build info & I’ll do the same 4 u…. Thanx, Stephen |
