Hello to all you fellow Bass freaks,
I just found this forum today doing some researching and after checking it out decided this is a great source for Alembic Info and also a pretty cool hang as well.
Im a drummer originally , turned Bass player back in the Stanley Clark / Mark King days. Have had a Series I and Series II piccolo for awhile now. Record with them mostly nowadays and they are my favorite go to Bass (Bar-None) to use a Beaver Felton expression, hello Beaver if you are out there.

Anyway look forward to chatting with my brothers & sisters in the Bass world !

Welcome Bobby! This is a wonderful place. Enjoy the view. It's Heady! As a SII shorty owner in Zebrawood I am very happy to be the first to offer a warm hello. Check out the facts and info section. There is a lot to read and the history just oozes out of this forum.

Hello to all,
Thanks for the warm welcome and I look forward to future conversations. Here's a pic of my 1977 series 1. Not much pic left after I did the editing to get it to upload but it's all good!

Thanks Again, 1977 Series 1

Hey Bobby - welcome to the Club! I too love the plateau (From KY to AL). I used to live in Cookeville and Chattanooga and fell in love with the TAG caves. I don't get underground as much these days, but I do get to mountain bike there occasionally.

And I love the Series II also! Beautiful wood!

Stephen
