I'm new to this site and will soon be the proud owner of my first Alembic. I've been playing bass for about 25 years now, own many excellent quality basses, but finally decided to take it up a notch.

I am having a Mark King Signature Deluxe Triple Omega w/ Heart 5-string built. I've been having trouble sleeping @ night since placing this order, constantly checking for new photo updates and awaiting it's arrival...sometime around October, I Believe.

Can't wait till it comes so I can get the rest of my life back on track.

Anyway, will post pictures once my new baby arrives.

Hi Mikey,

Welcome.
Here's the latest news on your instrument:

Well it's not going to be delivered in October.
It will be ready to ship next week! Can you wait that long? It's gorgeous too. It will be rubbed out tomorrow, buffed and set up next week.
Maybe Mica will take a sneak picture on Monday when it's rubbed out and post it.

WOW!!!!!
Thanks Susan...you really made my day...definitely thought I'd be sweating it out a few more months. This will be a really early Christmas present.

I'll be checkin' in case Mica can get another picture in.

Speak w/ you soon.

Mikey/

Hi Mikey,
well that's exactly how I felt 6 years ago. But as you can see: those girls (and boys) at Alembic really knows how to serve you right! I really hope your instrument as it comes out. Thake care: it's alive!!!
Paul
