My first bass...I build acoustic guitars so when I started to learn to play the bass I knew I was after certain qualities in an instrument. Quality in sound and finish...Naturally it had to be USA built. I also wanted an instrument that I would be proud of and would be around after I am gone. After all that is why I build guitars. With quite a bit of reasearch and questioning players I set my sights on an Alembic. As a result at 8:00pm EST tonight I became the present caretaker of an Alembic Epic <smile> |

Welcome to the club and congrats on getting an Alembic. Of course we want to see pictures. I would like to see some pics of your acoustics as well as the Epic. You said that this is your first bass. You went right to the top on your first one. Cool. If you have spent any time at all looking around this club you already know that this is the place to go for expert technical advice, friendly chat, great pictures, and even some slightly twisted humor from time to time. Anyone who can build an acoustic guitar from scratch gets my respect. And I'm always glad to meet another Epic owner. Congratulations! As Rich said, pictures, pictures, pictures. Let's see your bass, your guitars, amps, motorcycles, whatever. Sam |
