Hello, My name is Latisha Wood of LWood Custom Painting and Engraving. I am currently painting a bike for a bike Grateful Dead fan. His guitar that I'll be incorporating into the paint was a Alembic. It is one of the most beautiful guitars I have ever seen. I also paint guitars so its a great pleasure to have found somthing so beautiful. Thought I would introduce myself to the group and say HELLO Latisha Wood |

Hi Latisha, I'm looking forward to seeing your interpretation of the Alembic, as well as the finished bike project. It's good to hear from another Alembic appreciating lady on this site, although I enjoy the posts from the guys, especially when they get a little rowdy. |

Latisha, welcome to the club. Everyone should take a few minutes and look around your website. The artwork is awesome. Which bikes on American Chopper did you work on? I have watched many of the shows and would probably remember them. Update pictures of your projects would be appreciated. Rich |

Hey guys...thanks so much for taking the time to check out my post and even my site. I just finished the bike. The guy...loved it. I will try and attach an image of the rear fender. He took it out to a show this past weekend and said every time he went back to his bike there were people standing around it snapping pictures. So hes very proud. I did several OCC bikes but only a few were for discovery. The Mikey Vinnie bike and even the David Mann bike are the ones that you may have seen me. I'll post more pics for you to check out Latisha |

Latisha, Huge fan. When I saw the work you did on the David Mann tribute bike, I couldn't believe my eyes! That engraved look was truly amazing. The only thing I could think was "see you later, Justin!" Regards, Jonathan |

Close, it's the seat mounting screw (usually held in with a WellNut set in the hole). |

Nice work, Latisha! Your site was very cool. As a long-time Deadhead and a biker, I'm dying to see pix of the whole Garcia bike. Cheers, Kevin |

Latisha: Welcome! As you know, most of us here are big fans of craft, and of course ALEMBIC is run in large part by truly talented women, so we hope you are right at home. I was interested to see that Paul, Sr., seemed (on camera, at least) to be very open to yourself and the artist who did the painting, not nearly as chauvinistic as I might have imagined. Was this really the case? I thought your work on the DM bike, combining design, paint, and engraving was some of the most beautiful work I've seen on AC. Congratulations, and Much Success! J o e y |
