Hi..I'm new to this forum and I'm proud to be a part of it!!! I bought my very first Alembic in January 2002, and I've been in love ever since (don't tell my wife!!!). Anyway, I've owned Spectre's, Modulus's, Fender's, etc., and this Epic 5-string is the keeper!!! Definitely makes me proud to strap it on! The sound is killer and in fact, the band I'm in, The Casey Bryant Band, has been in the studio this month and the Epic sounds fantastic!!! I started off as a drummer when I was six, picked up the guitar when I was 12 and I've been a dedicated bassist for the last 15 years. Anyway, I'll be checkin' this forum out quite often...C-ya!

Welcome aboard Mike...that's a great bass you have there.

I just received my first Alembic about 3 weeks ago...and like yourself...it was love at first play.

My son tells me he fells sorry for my Tobias, my Tune, my Guild, etc...they just don't get the love they used to get before the Alembic came along.

Hey Mike, glad you're on board!!! Great looking bass too. Playing my first Alembic changed my entire "music life". There isn't a time when I pick up one of my babys that I'm not inspired. Keep us posted on your gigs, chime in any time.

Hey Mike, I got me first Alembic 26 years ago, a Series 1, and I got my Epic a year ago, I still have both of them and I love them both. My Stienberger not getting played much these days, I may have to sell it and get a new Alembic. you can never have too many Alembic's
