I have had this guitar for a couple of years, I bought it from someone in TX who had sent it to Alembic for a recondition, it came back with the letter below, from Susan W. She even notes the serial number on the letter. It works, and plays, amazingly. It has the original case, cord, preamp. Everything right and nice. What I like about it is the lack of decoration, not even fret markers! It looks the same as Carlos Alomar's rig but with a matte finish, and no markers. Anyway, add this one to the serial number list, I don't think there's any chance that Alembic used the serial number 74/80 for this guitar AND Stanley Clarke's Brown Bass. |
