Hey Everyone, I ordered my first Alembic (Spyder 4) about a month ago from Beaver at Bass Central and am ANXIOUSLY awaiting its arrival. Mica, any chance of some pictures!? Also, can I get a heads up from you guys or Bass Central when the bass is ready to ship?

Thanks for making the best instruments in the world.

Hi Jeff,
many congrats to your decision in buying a Spyder 4. I do own both a Spyder 4 and a Spyder 8 and the basses are great. I bought them both trough BC and the service of Beaver is fantastic.
I play the Spyders both with my WHO tribute band WHO ARE YOU.

Thanks Oliver ,
I know I will love my Spyder 4, but I will let you know what I think when I get it.

Hello Jeff & welcome to the club.

Mica is getting married this weekend so please be patient as it may take a while for progress shots. :-)

I can only echo Spyder Ollie's comments. It's a great bass made by artisans. I own number 7 of 50, and it's the prize of my collection. Beaver and crew are the best. I bought my Spyder and Pedulla through them, and it was great.

Mica - I'm glad someone is making an honest woman out of her! :-) Congrats to Mica and her husband to be. He is a lucky man for sure. I only hope he's a bass player .. think of the discounts ...

I also bought my Spyder (#17) from Beaver. They are the best. Afterwards, when I had my repairs/modifications/upgrades made to it, Mica and Val took most excellent care of me and my bass.

Congrats on your purchase Jeff...it is well worth the wait.

Jeff, welcome to the club. Try not to go too crazy waiting for your bass to arrive.

Spyder #31 arrived Friday, and it is amazing. Pictures do not do it justice. The sound is unlike anything I have ever heard. What an amazing guitar!
