I have been dreaming about this bass since I was 15 years old (thats a long time ago) and I finally got one. It's a beauty!!

I didn't play those other Alembics very often. They were a bit to heavy and didn't have the sound of a series-1 bass. The series-1 I own now is the best thing I ever had I play it all the time(I really should get some sleep). My previous Alembics did look great didn't they?

Gorgeous! I've never seen a rear headstock/back of neck quite like yours. It looks unique -with respects to the veneers coming down extra far. Was that a custom feature, do you know.

At the risk of sounding repetitious -as I just said the comment I'm about to say to another Alembic owner- your bass really captures the classic Alembic beauty and elegance. Welcome to the club!

I asked Rick Turner, he said they did do a few basses like this but it's very rare.
This bass was originaly made for a shop in Germany.
