Hi all. Doc Greene here. I have been playing Alembics since I was about 3 or 4yo. Seriously. My dad got his Series I in 1976 and still has it. I always plunked and beat on it until about 1986 when my dad taught me to play Waitin' for the Bus by ZZ Top. I bought my first Alembic in 1994. An Essence 4 string which was recently made fretless. I got a 5 string essence with a coco-bolo top about 3 years ago and recently purchased a Series I.

I have been selling Alembics now for nearly 10 years and I have co-designed many Instruments with Alembic and the owners of these fine instruments.

I can also assist you in choosing, designing, and purchasing a new Alembic. I also get used ones in from time to time.

I can be reached by email: ALEMBICDOC@AOL.COM

Here is my collection less the 5 string Europa I just picked up.My girlfriends

Hi Doc,
nice work! Beautiful instruments.
Question: has the blue bass a MAPLE fretless neck? What is the sound?
