Hi guys, you are very nice! Ciao Bye to everybody, you're great!

Sounds like he forgot something - the only word of Italian I remember is "dimenticare", and of course it means to forget.

Davide, welcome to the club!

Hi Adriaan,it's funny that the only word of italian that you "remember" is "forget".Thanks to you and Paul.

Oh ...sorry to get off topic a little but to Adriaan: you were right about that "Aural Enhancer" knob on my SWR SM 400. I played last Saturday and left that thing completely out. Sound with Bonnie was a lot better. Not close to working with the Poweramp and the F1-X and SF-2 combination but ...well ...it was acceptable.

Davide:

Welcome to the club!

I used to spend quite some time in Milano! I was setting up a subsidiary of Unicredito Italiano (Equrplus Research and Management) in Dublin. Made several trips to your area. Really miss it! It was great.

Really miss the food! The food here in Scotland just doesn't compare!

Good luck on your search for an Alembic. The fellas here are very good, and will help you find one if you need help. They are knowledgeable and will give you any assistance they can.

Good luck, and welcome!

Michael.

Hallo everyone of the alembic club.

I am proud to tell you that i have just bought my first alembic bass guitar, called the snake eyes. I have played this bass in germany at station music and since then i was thinking about it. At that time i took a 6 string imperial fodera but now a have finally asked Lothar to send this bass
as well.

I have make a special leather bag for that bass already with black embossed leather outside and purple color inside to match the wood inlay.

I will post it in my web side soon. I am not sure
if am allowed to write my website in such a message. If yes, pls someone let me know and i will be glad to give my website addresse.

I feel that the members of this club are very serious about alembic and i am proud to be able to
belong to it now.

Thank you,
Hermann Gerlach

Hello Davide and Hermann, and welcome to you both.
I believe you will enjoy the club here, and I'm sure you will have many years of pleasure from your Alembics.

Hermann, if nothing else you can put your homepage or URL in your member profile, I would like to see your bag. I'm also very jealous of your purchase. The Snake Eyes is a beautiful instrument. Please post some more pictures of her in the Showcase section.

Mike

Very nice bags, Hermann. Glad to hear Snake Eyes found a good home.
Sooner or later I may go for one of those antiqued bags, very cool.
