Hi! Just found the board! Special hallos to Mik Walker and Paul Clifton! I'm a pro player from England who has severe GAS (38 basses!). My Alembic Series I model is I believe, a bass that once belonged to the late great John Entwistle. This bass has no serial number but is pictured in the Who Anthology book. Cheers! Nick | ||

Hi Nick and welcome to the club from another Englishman (ex-pat in edinburgh now though). I'm surprised Paul TBO didn't ask for pictures so I will. Make sure you get some posted right away. When I lived in Hertfordshire in the 80s I used to spend quite a few weekends eating and drinking in Peterborough. I expect it's changed alot since then. Graeme | ||

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've started building a basic website so will try to get some pics up there! I've actually got 42 basses (did a census!) and 7 guitars! My current fave happens to be a Status Series 2000 - the Alembic is retired (sadly) - I'd hate it if she got damaged etc Cheers Nick | ||
