this is my newest family member a 1979 4 string fretless tobias walnut & purpleheart neck walnut body core quilted purpleheart top & back and ebony fingerboard this is an amazing bass built by Tobias him self back in florida when Tobias was just a one man shop. this bass really sings and looks amazing in person (Message edited by davehouck on November 03, 2006) |

Wow.As much as I like PH,that to me is astounding.I would love to have a quilt PH top Rogue to pair with my flame PH Rogue.Any chance on seeing a more detailed pic of the top?Thanks for the posting. |
