Even though I posted a similiar note in another thread - since I am just recently an Alembic owner (again) - I thought I'd tell you folks a little about myself!

I've been playing since the late '70's. Did the "rock band" thing until 1982, then started doing something I never thought I would do! - I joined a "wedding band" and played polkas! You need to remember that this was the early eighties and I had the BIG HAIR, earring (only one) and 40 less pounds than I have now. It was interesting to walk into wedding receptions (looking the way I looked) when the rest of the band was as clean-cut (apple pie) as they could be! Well, I kept the big hair for a few more years, but then had to also get a "real job" - so I became more "establishment!"

Well it's 20 years later and I'm still filling most of my Saturday evenings playing with the same guys (and also a female singer recently!)

I am currently VP of Sales & Marketing for a company that designs and produces trade show exhibits in Cleveland, OH.

I've owned a multitude of basses and rigs over the years, but I am now the most content I've ever been with the '85 Spoiler, a Mike Lull P4, a Mike Lull Modern 4, a Lakland 55-94 (my only 5-string) and a Stingray. I am using all Euphonic Audio cabs and have an I-Amp 800 coming shortly! I had been a devout Trace Elliot amp person for many years.

Well, enough about me! I'm glad to be back in good company!

Well I don't know about "tricky," but I guess the "two-sided" comments fits - I am a Gemini! - you know - "the twins!"

You guys are okay!
