Hi, I have been playing all sorts of instruments over the last 25 or so years, but Bass guitar is my favorite, and I have recently purchased an Epic 6 string. The instrument was in dire need of TLC since the frets hung over the edge of the fingerboard sharply, the nut ect. were out of adjustment, causing nasty buzzing and and uncomfortable playing in general. After purchasing, I opened the truss cover to find a rounded nut on one of the truss rods! But, after lots of filing and adjusting, I have came up with a very nice 6 string Bass that I think I may even keep for a while. I do have a habit of fixing up and trading instruments. I have a nice solid wenge neck warwick I am ready to get rid of if anyone might be interested! |

Welcome aboard Mark and congrats on the Epic find! It sounds like it found a good home with you. I think after playing the Epic, or any Alembic for that matter, you will want to keep it for a long time. Oh yeah, almost forgot, post some pics for us all to see and admire. Here's a close up of the top. What a small limit on the pic size! |
