I thought the day would never come. I had only been dreaming about buying an Alembic for the past 2 years of my life. Through all the financial trouble and times of strife, this day finally came last week. I would like to thank Susan for putting up with my BS over the past few months and I would also like to thank my wife who has pushed me to become a better musician. Congrats, Danny, I'm sorry you had to sell your Epic; personally, I think the Orion's a nicer shape... it's the set-neck version of the Europa -which I have. It sounds like a nice formula. Zebrawood's really pretty, and LEDs are nice, really handy. And you'll enjoy the low-pass filter... tremendous versatility. | ||

I had to get rid of a 4x10 because it was too heavy. I've never heard of a 4x8, but I bet it's punchy and light weight. | ||

Ashdown makes a 4x8 cab rated at 8ohms and a nasty 600 watts. You can pick one up for about 400 bucks at any Ashdown dealer. | ||
