I must be upfront. I do not yet own an Alembic. Someday soon I shall. I'm from Binghamton, NY and I play guitar in a band called The Second Class Citizens. Feel free to check us out at www.myspace.com/thesecondclasscitizens. For the time being I'm making due with a Modulus Genesis CT3. It's been a great and stable gigging guitar but it will never satisfy my desire for an Alembic. I hope to pick up an Orion by the end of the year. Small beans in the World of Alembic but I must start somewhere. I'll talk to you all soon.

Patrick,
Good luck to you in getting an Orion. No need to apologize for not going for one of the higher-end Alembics right away. All Alembics are top notch instruments. All well designed, well built, well company-supported.
Welcome to the club.

Hey Patrick,
Here's a thought:
See if you can "Activate" your Modulus guitar with Alembic electronics. I did that with my Modulus bass and the combination of graphite neck and Alembic electronics is superlative!
Welcome to the club!

Thanks for the welcome. There is way too much eye candy on this forum.
