Hello all in the Alembic club!I'm excited to say after 30yrs in this music business I have become the proud new owner of an Alembic Rogue 5. It's my first. I am from US,Texas and now play just semi professional such as a weekend warrior but it's "in my blood" as they say. When they lay me to rest, you may take my boots off but bury me with my bass!....(Please place bass in an air tight "flight" case!)

Hello Steve and welcome to the club.
Better late than never to own great instruments, my story was similar about 9 years ago with my first Alembic after 20 years dreaming. Enjoy your weekends and keep that blood pumping!

Hey Steve congratulations and welcome from an ex-pat Texan now in Florida. If you've looked around the club site at all you know you gotta post pictures!

Steve,

Glad to see you finally got your hands on a Rogue. It sounds as though there a couple little issues from it sitting in the case so long, I recommend you spend a few hours reading through the FAQ section- there's heaps of useful info there.

Enjoy that maple beauty and get some pictures up when you get a chance!
