Just got my first Alembic...a '98 Epic 4. All I can say is that I can't believe I have waited this long to get one. These basses are simply outstanding! This one blows my mind and I haven't even plugged it in yet....

Hi Todd, welcome to the club and congratulations. Your enthusiasm is understandably fairly common around these parts. And as always, we need pics, pics pics!

Greg

ps. Plug it in... you are in for a big surprise (that of course, if you have good batteries running on your bass)!!

Hal....cool! Yes, Georgia has it's share of funk monsters for sure. I'll bet you can funk it up with that fine machine that you have. It looks kind of like one that Wyzard used to play in Mother's Finest. I just played my Epic out for the first time the other night....I don't think I will ever play anything else! It was thunderous. My bandmates refer to it as another member of the band. Rightfully so!

Hi Todd,

You've discovered the top of the heap; seriously, I doubt there is a better bass out there anywhere than Alembic and if there is, good luck...Tony
