I finally got my chance 3 years ago when I purchased a 1979 Series II w/ Modulus Graphite Neck. That bass is incredible! It nevers goes out of tune. The sustain goes on forever! I own quite a few other basses, but the Alembic really turns some heads. The neck feels nice. It is fairly slim, which is fine with me as I have small hands. It has more of a ringing piano tone. I really love the graphite neck! Jim
