In this configuration, does the filter come before or after the tone controls?

Could you advise what list price is to:
a. add filter plus q switch to an Epic/Orion; and
b. add bass & treble controls to an Essence?
(to create the East/West combo)

Thanks
David B.

David,

While I can't answer for Alembic, the upgrade cost to go from std. Orion to EMW electronics was $650 USD MSRP on my {Ke(vi)n's Custom} Orion during construction.

Cheers

David; while I'm sure you already thought of it, I thought I would point out that for the Essence you would also need to add the Q switch; and the control cavity may need to be enlarged.

The tone controls have a multiplying affect, so it doesn't matter which one comes first.

What we're referring to as EMW electronics also has the new sidemounted jack. You're looking at $650 to East-meets-Westifty either an Essence or Epic/Orion on a new build.

Thanks for that - something to think about for my next demo instrument.

Happy 4th of July.
