Wonder what it would cost to get Alembic to build a version of this? Peter (who couldn't play it in his wildest fantasies) (Message edited by cozmik_cowboy on February 14, 2013) |

Michael Hedges had the very famous electric harp guitar built by Steve Klein, which was headless (at least on the "regular" neck) and with the ergonomic body: http://www.myspace.com/adamwerner/photos/770924 Steve made some full scale plans for the harp guitar which were on sale for a long time, spawning all the Klein electric clones. Pat Metheny's harp guitar is a wild one called Pikasso and built by Linda Manzer: http://www.oddmusic.com/gallery/om23350.html When I first saw this, I figured it was somebody playing with Photoshop, but it's real. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XYkcNmdQu0 David Fung |
