Mica/Val can you please tell me what it would cost to order : Vol/Pan/Filter and maybe a Q switch, in 2 AXY PuPs? this is not for an Alembic bass but I would really love to get this setup in another bass I am having built. thanks for your time - Tom |

From the price list, I am guessing it is about $745 for the four string version, $800 for five/six striing. The price list shows an AXY/PVF line item for AXY with vol/pan/filter. I assume the presence of the pan means this is two AXYs and not just one. The Q swith is +$50 on this package. Also, in other recent threads, a filter and Q switch to replace the bass/treble for an Epic was $400. I'm not sure, but adding this to the above could get you to Signature electronics. I'm not sure if these parts are discountable through a dealer, but that could save you a bit as well. These numbers probably all go up in a week. |

Thanks bsee, Yes it would be 2 AXY PUPs, I had considerd the package available through the Web store here for 700 (Vol/Pan/Bass/Treble) and still might go that route considering.... as for dealer pricing I am still waiting to hear back from a dealer I contacted I just wanted to try and get he Low down here as well. - Tom |

I want to swap the pup selector, bass, & treble pots out of my Orion Bari for a pan, lp filter, & Q.... Val said I was looking at around $500 for the parts, so everything above sounds like it's in the right ballpark... -Mike |

Mike - Odd Orion to have a pickup selector, you don't have vol/pan/bass/treble? |

Bob; Mike is talking about an Orion baritone guitar rather than an Orion bass. The guitars come with a three position pickup selector. |

Ah, oops.... I wonder if they use a filter with the same tonal range for guitar applications? I suppose 6KHz is pretty high for either, so maybe so. |

>>>>I'm not sure if these parts are discountable through a dealer, but that could save you a bit as well. <<<<< I'd imagine this falls under the "repair" catagory~ thus keeping the dealer out of the shuffle... If there is a dealer discount on components that would be cool... |
