hello everybody.
I dream of having a bigsby-like vibrato on my mark king.
I think i've already seen one on john entwistle alembic.
Is that right? Is it possible?

There's a few pics of Alembics with tremelos in this old thread.
Stanley Clarke had the first one I ever saw on the cover of his 'I wanna play for you' album. Cuple of pics of it here

ok so it does exist. Thank you. people at alembic, do you think it's possible? Do I make a mistake transforming my bass? questions.....I'll get the answer on old thread I suppose..

All I can tell you is that every tremolo we've ever installed on a bass has come off in later years. There's just no way to know if you will want it there in 10 years, but it's fun to experiment.

Maybe plan on a decorative inlay to disguise the former tremolo location if it ever comes to that.
