I would like information about making a 4 string travis bean have two alembic pickups and an effects loop with the volume wired post effects return. Could this be done and at what cost?

Anything is possible, it's just a question of time and money: how much of each do you wanna spend? LOL! On top of that, Papa Ron would have to agree to take on your project. Good luck with your dream.

BTW, since Alembic is quite busy these days, and no one there has answered this, I'd recommend calling Valentino in order to get a concrete answer one way or the other.

Cheers,

IMHO it is very possible~ From what I have gathered you would be best off with an Essence electronics package ( 2pups>pan>filter/Q>vol).... Any Alembic circuit more complex than that, and you are dealing with two separate preamps / buffers and the headache of incorporating the TRS loop into some sort of summing matrix.... I dont know if they've done that before....

Check out "Mike's Flame Maple Custom" in the FTC folder~ it doesnt show the finished bass, but those are Fatboy pups, Essence electronics, and a TRS loop.
