Hi, David, I just saw on German TV that Australia archieved one of the last tickets to the soccer world championships 2006 here in Germany by winning against Uruguay (sorry, we're a bit behind in time). Congratulations, to all of you ! I do not think it helps you in negotiations of zebrawood upgrade costs, yust wanted to tell you that I love Australia taking part in the most important event next year in Germany ! (besides the "Light & Sound" in Frankfurt, which is earlier in 2006, I think). Christian (the faker) |

Thanks, Christian - it was a great moment for Australian sport. Coincidentally the last time Australia qualified was when the World Cup was last in Germany (or "the German speaking part of Europe" as it is now called) - about 31 years ago. The victory is especially sweet, given the South American bias in FIFA and the dirty tricks campaign that has been waged against Australia. The hero of the night was the Australian goalkeeper, Schwarzer, which looks like a German name. I'll have money on Australia making it to the quarter finals, at least. David |
