I am looking at a custom order, and are somewhat torn on the boy shape- every other option is set in my mind. I don't have a dealer nearby, so I can't judge for myself the relative comfort, both seated and on a strap, of Darling vs Little Darling vs Further. I am 6ft tall, average build as a point of reference.
Anybody have any insight for me?

I love my Further. Extremely comfortable, both standing and sitting. I'm 6'2". The Further just seems more ergonomic to me than the Darlings. YMMV.

+1 - I have a Further on order. I'm 6'-3" and the body shape is very comfortable.

My son owns a Further and every once in a while I steal it to play. I would agree that its well balanced and extremely comfortable and I'm 5'8."

I have two alembic guitars, a series I and an Orion. By far the orion is the most comfortable body shape of the two. It hangs level when playing and doesn't move and also playing seated puts it in a great position. The small body style series I guitar is body heavy so whilst it does not neck dive like the basses of the same style it does still tend to want to lean forward from the top edge because of the location of the strap button behind the neck. That said it does mean you have a bona fide reason to lean back whilst playing and look like a rock legend. :-)
