Please look at my post in the Miscellaneous section. I think I put this question in the wrong forum. I was asking about Alembic's wood specifications required for body, neck, etc. Hoping to hear from someone soon, as it appears I'm starting a wood collection already! Regards to all, Jeff (Emjay) |

We usually accept customer-supplied wood for tops and backs, since they have little structural bearing. Generally, we prefer lumber, in 4/4 or thicker with a 8" width and 24" length for most models. We have to wait to use wood that has too high a moisture reading. For necks, we prefer to use our own woods. |
