Well, I'm vaguealy thinking about a mahagony Excel with flame maple top and a sunburst finish. I need only one pickup, it should be in the Precision Bass position. And I need just a treble cut (like the Essence tone poti) and a volume knob. Is this a ,,standard'' configuration or is it cheaper or more expensive? As I understand the Excel normally is fitted with 2 PUs and more versatile electronics. EDIT: Similiar to this one... While not a "standard" configuration, I think it's been done before and my guess is that it would not be significantly more expensive. |
