Hey guys & gals,

Just wondering if anyone could tell me if wood pickup covers are possible on the Further guitar electronics (ala the "Son of Doubleneck," but a one-piece wood cover, not multi-laminates). I love the way that this feature makes the instrument look like it grew in the woods instead of built in a factory. Also, how much are continuous wood backplates on a Further, as well as flame maple control knobs? If you don't want to discuss prices here I totally understand.

I'm looking to custom order this fall once I find a dealer here in the Southeast.

Thanks for your time!

Hello jleague,

wood pickup covers are definitely possible. Rami had one of his rogues done like that , here's the link: http://www.alembic.com/info/fc_rami.html

Continuous wood backplates on a Further guitar are 600$ I believe.

In regards to custom wood knobs you may want to check out this recent thread: http://alembic.com/club/messages/449/5714.html?1061218192
