Very interesting, I am trying to visualize your concepts in my mind. I also have conceptual plans for possible future Alembic Custom Creations . It's fun. |

How about a Scorpion Spoiler with a Heart Omega to take care of the balance? |

That would be something like this? Thanx for the suggestion, but I'm thinking as much "Classic Spoiler" (though with the heart omega) as possible for this dreambass. Maybe the headstock can be a bit thinner (as on my '83 Spoiler) and a recessed bird tailpiece would also be neat (as on Monty) And heck... let's go for a 6 feet ebony stinger :-) |

Speaking of stingers, one of the more impressive features to actually see in person in a room full of impressive instruments at the gathering last week was this one; an Ebony and Maple stinger. |

Yeah, awesome! Though maybe a bit dangerous combined with my stage performance, I go with the tiny stinger like this :-) Wood preference changed: Koa core, Flamed Koa top (btc) and back (non btc) Ebony/Purpleheart/Ebony veneer/accent/veneer Koa Baby! :-) |

Picturing the inlaid script, I'm wondering if you could also add the rays and have them intermingle with the script somehow. |
