One p/u was kapoot, the brass needed elbow grease, and the entire body just needed head-to-toe scrubbin'. The output jack has had a crack (as if it had fallen over while plugged in), but has been repaired most solidly. I put on a fresh set of TI flats and cranked the action up high. Still trying to nail down the electronics, but it's coming along nicely. I played it last week on an outdoor gig through my YBA-3/2x15. ĄJoder! what a great musical sound, especially in the middle register. As with many of you, I coveted an Alembic since the Seventies. She notes how much more the cat spends on my lap than on her hers. Maine Coons are nice, I had a roommate with one of them.
