Sam, no this is the V-head Spyder that John did not use that much as the other two conehead Spyders. The Hard Rock Spyder that was in Berlin was formerly Johns main stage bass and was used mainly until the Live Aid concert where it failed. And as John said in his book: It is somewhere in a HRC. I had sold it as its punishment for failing at the Live Aid gig. The second Spyder he used after he had sold the first one to the Hard Rock was his formerly spare bass. The two conehead Spyders are easily recognizeable due to its different pick-up spacing. Oliver (Spyderman) |

all i can say is what an unbelievable human being he was,so sad about us that we have to deal with losing him. what a great man he was. by the way has anyone checked out rockstars guitars site Johns sunn amp rig from the 70s earley 80s plus a few of his cabinets and road cases are on there for sale man i might sell my house to get it i could live in a cabinet, well i could my wife would not like it to much |
